Ravers in Dubai does Soho Garden - Hive ... Amelie Lens
As part of our efforts to relive the old days and provide the Ravers in Dubai community with the best party experiences in the UAE, we decided to organize on a regular basis a 'Ravers in Dubai does...' - event to bring people together and have an excellent night out on the dancefloor.
Our first get-together was at 'Hive' - Soho Garden, the biggest of the clubs within the Soho Garden Meydan complex and we set the bar and expectations high planning to attend the DJ set of fellow Belgian Amelie Lens !
Since none of us had actually met in real life, we decided to meet up prior to Hive at DxBike in NAS for a refreshing smoothie and a meet and greet to briefly get to know each other and then headed out to Soho Garden Meydan only 2 minutes away.
The music from the warm-up DJs was already banging when we came in and when Amelie Lens started her set at 01h30, the dancefloor was already booming with excitement! Personally I was pleasantly surprised with the set build up, as I had been afraid it would be a Tomorrowland-style music choice. This for sure turned out not to be the case at all! Instead we got a mix of classic old school rave tunes in combination with some new school techno bangers ! BRILLIANT SET !
As usual the light show at Hive similar to Code is absolutely amazing. Hive on top gives a much more of a festival vibe with an outdoor bar and an indoor set up that allows you to roam around on side quests much easier. Overall one of my best nights out in Dubai so far.

If you feel excited about joining us on one of our nights out, we are doing 'Ravers in Dubai does...Hard Techno' this Saturday - introducing some newbies to the real Berlin style hard techno underground scene in Dubai and taking some hardcore hard techno fans out for what will be night out to remember. Planning on ending up in the desert for a Sunday morning sunrise session with the Sacred Circle season opener!

In the meantime block your calendars for Saturday 14th of September when Ravers in Dubai in collaboration with Pump Up Parties will launch a unique one of a kind concept of pool party and old school 90's and 00's house music night in an 'INFLATABLE CLUB' at the pool area of the Avani Hotel in Ibn Battuta!
