Dubai's Underground Rave Scene - Moist Paper Party (MPP) - Anti-Party - Eclectic 'pool' party at Gulf Inn Al Nasr
'OFF THE BEATEN TRACK' anyone? Both in location and music style, Moist Paper Party or "MPP" ticks off all the boxes for those of you that want to experience something that you will not be able to find anywhere else in Dubai.
Established in 2022, they consider themself an 'anti-party' catering for those crowds that feel the music and dance scene in Dubai is too commercial, too restricted or just too boring, this should sound familiar to the Ravers in Dubai family !!!
Currently they have set up their home turf at Gulf Inn Al Nasr at the covered rooftop in an 'abandoned pool' (*) ! YES - you read this right - the DJ booth and soundsystem are in the deep end of the pool and the ravers are in or around it - empty pool obvio !
With ticket pricing set at 50 AED, their parties won't break the bank and you get extremely good value for money when it comes to dancing away all night long on the most eclectic set of tunes you can imagine ! They also sell t-shirts for the hardcore fans.

Friday 23 August | Astral Fridays | Secret Garden, Conrad Hotel - networking event from 21h00 to 23h00, followed by a house/techno party
Friday 30 August | Ravers in Dubai's own Everybody in the Place old school techno event with Abletom, Raha Soraba and Parvané at the decks | Room 3, 25Hours Hotel
Saturday 31 August | Sectacollective Season Closing resident hypnotic techno party | Q Underground, Al Barsha

(*) Edit 28 August 2024 - MPP confirmed the pool itself is not abandoned as it is actively in use by hotel guests, the MPP crew empties and cleans the pool prior to every event ! Big kudos to MPP for such dedication to provide ravers with the experience to dance in an emptied out pool!
