Dubai's underground rave scene - Coven - 1st Edition - Industrial Hard Techno - Casa Latina - Ibis Hotel
Those of you that know me or have partied with me know that I love the harder styles, so it should come as no surprise that I absolutely wanted to attend the first edition of Coven's industrial hard techno event!
Having completely missed the brief for the non-mandatory Berlin black dress code, I showed up in my all white raver outfit, luckily the underground rave scene in Dubai does not mind, you come dressed as you like without judgement and just rave !
Organised at the hole in the wall Casa Latina club at the back of the Ibis hotel at SZR, the dark style of the little club is perfectly suited for any small and intimate underground rave events, therefore I can wholeheartedly say that Coven's first industrial hard techno night was a big success!
The Coven concept is simple - go hard from the start without warm up DJs - smart move, as in Dubai we can only party until 3am, 4am if we are lucky, unless we head out to a boat or private villa after party afterwards! So we have to get in as much cardio as we can in a timeframe of 5-6 hours !
Brilliant night out, the music was beyond my expectations and I absolutely loved how the laser show drew shapes on the moving bodies ! Definitey looking forward to the next edition which is currently scheduled for 20th of September.
