Inner Trance - Oak Live Bar - Courtyard by Marriott - Al Barsha

Inner Trance is by far one of the most unique party concepts in Dubai - probably in the whole of the Middle East - a one-man show ran by DJ DKompression, who plays a 5-hour epic set of the best hard house and hard trance, a hardcore music library which he painstakingly put together as a project during covid lockdown.

Prior to moving to Dubai, DKompression also transfered hundreds of vinyls to .WAV format making this labour of love for the genre together with the exceptionally brilliant lighting set up during the Inner Trance parties an absolute gem on the Dubai rave scene!

With the Dubai party calendar being overloaded as it is, and most of us having prior commitments to other events such as Ministry of Sound, we all gathered at Oak Live Bar around midnight where the crowd was already bouncing around on the dance floor.

The crowd was small but energetic, no surprise as DJ DKompression himself is the motor of the party, dancing behind the decks whilst managing the smoke machine and lights and getting ravers moving on the dance floor. Save to say we had a BLAST !

Definitely for all of you hard house and hard trance lovers that are looking for a great night out, do join us next time to show DKompression some support and have a brilliant time on the dance floor.

It definitely becomes harder every weekend to make sure you attended the right party and not getting beaten up trying to get out of the Soho Beach World Island venue on a jetty.
